Raise Green is focused on financing climate solutions, and especially on project finance companies that have contracted cash flows. Our specific expertise is small-medium sized (or what we call “community-scale” solar projects between about 50kw-5MW. These are projects like solar on a local school, church, community center, small business, non-profit, or things like microgrids for communities, EV charging stations, affordable housing, or other clean energy or climate resilience related infrastructure projects. Ultimately, if you’re looking to raise anywhere from $50k-$5M for a climate project that has demonstrable social and environmental benefits, let us know!
Raise Green supports community ownership in the energy transition in two ways. First, it allows for community organizations most involved in making a solar project happen to retain ownership of that project, keeping its impact within the community. Second, it allows the community to directly invest in the project. Benefits remain in the community for continued development and growth.

We don't think so! Raise Green was founded to apply the Regulation Crowdfunding framework to traditional project finance in the solar industry to increase the deployment of community-scale solar and energy-efficiency projects. Because of their smaller size, these projects typically do not receive funding from traditional sources. Raise Green is providing them with a financing solution to help make these projects happen! We care about additionality - helping projects that couldn't get funding happen.

If you are raising funds through debt, you’ll select an interest rate to offer to your investors. (Similarly, for an equity offering, investors will expect you to explain the projected returns.) The offered interest rate is ultimately the choice of the issuer, but typically varies based on asset class, the riskiness of the project, and other factors. When you sign up to raise money with Raise Green, we can provide you with a starting template for your security offering, and our diligence process aims to ensure that the selected terms are both suitable for the issuer’s business needs and appropriate for sale to the general public.
Raise Green is focused solely on democratizing sustainable investing so everyone can own and benefit from the deployment of clean energy and sustainable assets as we decarbonize our economy. In such, our investor base is equally driven by mission and profit. Impact is critical, as is the quality of the investment. If your project is financing sustainable assets and tackling the climate crisis, we're the funding platform for you.
